Blonde Brownies

Great alternative to your regular chocolate brownie. This is another recipe I got from Val's family.

Melt together:
2 1/3 cups brown sugar
2 cubes butter

Let cool slightly. Add 4 beaten eggs. Mix well while incorporating--you don't want the eggs to cook!

Mix seperately:
3 cups flour
3/8 teas. baking soda
1 1/2 teas. baking powder

Slowly pour wet mixture into dry. Mix well and add 1 1/2 teas. vanilla.
Sprinkle with chocolate chips (I like a lot) and bake for 25 minutes in a 350 degree oven. This mixture does rise and is more cakelike, so you may want to distribute into two pans! Enjoy!
