Roll recipe from the Kellers

Thank you Mary Rose and her future inlaws for being willing to share! I've heard these are amazing and I'm making them today! Yum!

Rolls from Grandma Campbell

1 Tablespoon of yeast
1 1/2 cups of warm water

Dissolve these two ingredients together and set aside.

2/3 cup sugar
1 1/2 teaspoon salt
2/3 cup crisco shortening (yellow butter flavored)
1 Cup instant mashed potatoes
2 eggs

Mix these ingredients together.

5-7 cups of flour

Add water and yeast and flour into the mixture slowly. Blend together for about 5 minutes. Place them in tupperware container and refrigerate for 12 hours.

Roll them out like a pizza and then drip butter over the dough. Cut like a pizza, and begin rolling them from the outside (larger side) towards the center.
Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.
As soon as you take them out of the oven baste them with more butter and remove them from the pan so they don't get soggy!
