TRIFLE

Yum, yum, yum. This is a must holiday dessert! This recipe is easily doubled!

1 pkg. vanilla cook and serve pudding
1 angel food cake---cut in bite size pieces
1 pkg. frozen berries
1 container fresh berries
1 lg. pkg. jello (strawberry or raspberry)
1 pint heavy whipping cream

Thaw berries in a small bowl. cook the pudding according to pkg. directions. Cool slightly. Cut angel food cake into bite size pieces. Mix the jello with boiling water until dissolved. Whip your cream and set aside.

Layer:
1/3 of angel food cake pieces.
drizzle with 1/3 of jello mixture.
cover with mixture of fresh and frozen berries (1/3)
Cover with 1/3 pudding.
Layer with whipped cream.
Repeat this 2 more times.
Decorate wth a few remaining berries.

We have also done this with brownie pieces, chocolate pudding and cherry pie filling and it is delicious as well!
