Pumpkin pie cake

Okay, I can't wait for fall. I love pumpkin! Anything pumpkin! This recipe is so good!

1 box yellow cake mix
1 cup water
1 12 oz. can evaporated milk
2 eggs
1 15 oz can pumpkin
1 T. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 cup sugar
whipped cream

Spray a 9X13 cake pan with non stick cooking spray. Sprinkle 1/2 the dry cake mix over the bottom of the pan. Sprinkle 1/2 cup water over cake mix. Combine milk, eggs, pumkin, cinnamon, salt, sugar and beat until smooth. Pour the pumpkin pie mix over the cake. Sprinkle remaining 1/2 dry cake mix over the top of the pumpkin pie filling. Sprinkle 1/2 cup water over top of cake mix. Allow cake to set for 10-15 minutes to absorb moisture. After this time, if there are any pieces of cake mix that are not very moist, or are large, push them down into the pie a little bit to brake them up. It all has to be moist to work well. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-45 minutes or until cake is set. The cake may be served hot or cold. Garnish with whipped cream.
I love this recipe!
